A Word from the Sr. Warden

Update From Dave Wardell2008-01-18

January 18, 2008

The formation of All Saints Anglican Church and the year 2007 in total have been a wonderful blessing that we all can reflect on, enjoy, and be thankful for as we approach our first anniversary. During this year, we collectively as a new congregation demonstrated our commitment to our traditional beliefs with the formation of our church and joining CANA. This point has been elaborated on and emphasized numerous times during the year by our visiting Priests, as well as Bishop Anderson, but it has been a great experience that cannot be understated. It still amazes me where all this energy, faith, and most importantly, God’s grace has carried us together. We have been blessed with fellowship and synergy beyond our expectations. During this year we called a wonderful Priest who was clearly sent to us as one of God’s great works. All Saints has a wonderful long-term, temporary facility to worship in, committed parishioners, and a vision for the future that includes continued growth, outreach and service to our community. I am confident and excited about the great spiritual and congregational leadership we will receive from Father Michael.

We are about to conduct our first Annual Meeting, where we will also elect new vestry members. I wish to thank Kathy Aspden, Junior Warden, Kevin Moeggenberg, and Fred Smith who have completed their time on the vestry for their great service to this church. I hope everyone will come to the Annual Meeting on the 27th of January to participate in the meeting and hear the good news. There are so many people in the congregation who have done so much to make all of this happen. I would like to say thank you to the vestry members and the congregation, and I am thankful to God for all the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us.

Yours in Christ,

David E. Wardell, Senior Warden
